InterStruct Collective
InterStruct Collective is a horizontal arts-based cultural association consisting of artists, researchers, designers, producers and activists who develop decolonial approaches and strategies for tackling urgent social justice issues. InterStruct has authored several artistic works, curatorial projects and educational programs, among others: Heimat I (art residency in Reken, Germany, 2020), Unearthing Memories (curatorship and exhibition, Rampa, Porto, 2020), ATLAS (workshop series, Galeria Municipal do Porto, 2021), Decolonising the City (performance within the framework of the Portuguese Representation of the Venice Architecture Biennale, 2021), Ruptures in Cement: Decolonial tour from Palacio de Cristal to Cordoaria (performance, TransEuropa Festival, 2022) and Colonial Traces (an evolving digital map initiated in 2019). InterStruct is constantly growing and reformulating. This fluid approach allows for a greater symbiosis between individual and collective motivations.
